Having spent a lot of time in Italy I hated that Chattanooga didn’t have a place where I could get authentic Italian food and I’m thankful that we do now! I’ve been to Marco’s several times now and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They are able to tell you about every item on the menu and recommend something for you if you’re not sure what you’d like that evening. I’ve had many of the appetizers, all yummy. The Caprese Salad is a favorite. The pizza’s are incredible, the Chef’s special has never disappointed me. They have a fantastic selection of Martinis. I love sitting on the patio and the atmosphere inside as well. All in all a wonderful dining experience.

My wife and I went here tonight for the first time. Our waitress immediately greeted us and was very helpful and knowledgable of the menu, as we had a lot of questions for our first time. My wife started off with a “strawberry bubbletini” and I enjoyed a glass of pinot noir. It was lady’s night, so the martini was only $5. For dinner, my wife had a pasta dish that she designed herself..they had several choices of noodles/sauces/meats/veggies/cheeses to choose from. I tried one of the chef’s specialities, the eggplant parmesean. The dishes were huge and had enough food for lunch the next day! We were able to tell how fresh everything was within the first bite, and later found out when talking to an employee, that the kitchen does not have a microwave and has only 1 small freezer. We thought we ought to give dessert a shot. My wife and I just got home from Italy a couple weeks ago and were dying for a slice of Tiramisu. When our waitress told us that it was fresh and made by the chef, we were very excited to try it. Let me tell you folks, it knocked Italy’s tiramisu out of the water. We can not wait to visit Marco’s again.

Just tried this place out for the first time tonight. We started out with an Antipasta tray which consisted of italian sausage, cappacola, proscuitto, mozzerella, provolone, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, and olives. OUTSTANDING! I haven’t been to an italian restaurant as authentic as this one in chattanooga. I ordered the veal parmesiagno and my wide ordered a black pepper linguine with lobster and vodka sauce. Both were excellent. They also have a fantastic drink list.

Last night, my wife and I went to Marco’s for the first time. My wife and friend shared the grilled lobster pizza. I took a bite and was very pleased. The goat cheese mixed with the mozzarella on the pizza was a very unique and delicious flavor. I had the stuffed porkloin, which I believe was stuffed with provolone and prosciotto, came with polenta and sauteed vegetables. Finished our dinner with a slice of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back. I recommend this place to anybody looking for some truly authentic Italian fare.
